Brockers. Taylor, IMO, is our most important player in the secondary however.

2 different players altogether' 1 is a shut down c and the other is a freelance play maker. Without our other d backs HB7 has to play more straight up.

Hmmm.....tough call. The CB who will be a top 5 pick or "the other CB" who finished 5th in the Heisman balloting.....or one of the other 3 or 4 potential 1st round picks on defense.

It's so damn hard to pick one. I'd have to give the unsung hero title to Brooks, for sure. He filled in for TM7 nicely during his suspension, and has been great on blitzes.

Then there's the worst starter.. Hatcher. Every time he comes in, my arse cheeks clench b/c in my mind I know we're about to get screwed.

Gump,

HB7 was a factor. He was part of a TEAM defense that held your offense to only 3 plays in the red zone.

Who is the weak link?

Got to be Hatcher. There was a reason he was moved from safety.

Tyrann wasn't a factor? He made some touchdown saving tackles on Richardson.

Isn't every tackle a touchdown saving tackle? Cause if they didn't get tackled they'd have gone on to score touchdown.

He had 4 tackles, no int's, no stripped balls, no sacks. He also got knocked on his arse big time by TR. Reid made a great game saving int, and Mo's int gave you your second regulation FG that got you into OT. There are a lot of flukes that need to be exposed next game. Will it be HB7 having a game or will the tide make him ineffective again. Will it be the tide shutting down LSU completely and getting into the endzone restoring order or will it be LSU pulling off the miracle again? I dunno. To this point you can call it the year of the kicker. I hope Saban goes for it on every 4th down within 5 yrds or punts outside the 30.

Dude that was one game. TM is very good and makes game changing plays. I do agree that Mo is probably the best defensive player over all but I also think alot of that is because he is older and has been on the team longer.

I may be biased towards the Nov5 game where HB7 wasn't really a factor.

At least Mathieu outplayed Kirkpatrick on 11/5:

Mathieu had 4 solo tackles and 1 assist to Kirkpatrick's 2 solo tackles and 2 assists.

Neither had a tackle for loss.

Mo had 1 solo and 2 assists but did have one int which he returned 33 yards.

Man, do I wish just one of the following would happen:

1.) Shepard makes all catches without falling backwards onto the ground on EASY TD's.
2.) Randle catches everything that hits both hands in the end zone.
3.) Ford looks down on his way in for TD's.
4.) Richardson doesn't get saved by the sideline on his fumbles when Reid annihilates him.
5.) Helmet to helmet and roughing the passer is actually not allowed in a football game.
6.) And yes, TM7 doesn't get turned around and cause a penalty, and we don't give up field position for another potential game winning score.
7.) Our center doesn't snap the ball in the dirt to our QB in the shotgun.

Yeah, none of this could happen, and bama would still lose. Bama will certainly need much more luck on their side to stay within 3 again.
