So while that particular company line may not be on your tape, you throw out so many other pearls of wisdom on their behalf you deserve all the accolades that go to them as well

My favorite Les Miles moment was standing in a crowd of exuberant Tiger fans under a hotel balcony on Bourbon St. watching him hoist the National Championship trophy. A photo of this with me in it appeared in the program of the first game of the next season which was the Appalachan State game that was moved to the morning because of a hurricane. There were many great Les Miles moments and I wish him all the best.

I miss Miles. Class act. Incredibly amusing vocabulary and choice of phrasing. Great man, and ambassador to LSU.
I met him back when he coached at Okie State. And I'll never forget it. He is genuinely as friendly and goofy as he appears on film. Great, great man.

Anyone that enjoyed Les' dismissal more than any other single moment of his tenure is either a miserable shite, a faux LSU fan, or both.
To answer the thread question, he stuck up for Shep after the Ole Miss game in 2012.

Our current coach could learn from his class when it comes to going to bat for his players.
