But say Kyle Williams coached a unit where no player improved from last year and then he just quit on the team and watch how many people defend him.

Berry was the second best playmaker on the offense last night behind Green and Frank didn't get him a touch in the 2nd half. Inexcusable

If you notice….Berry fumbles too often to be in the game for double digit carries. Maybe if blocking gets better , Berry might do better.

FRAUDULENT FRANK IS GONE AMEN!!!!!!LINK

Berry had one brilliant run on LSU's second possession, and played very little afterwards. And Durham was consistently awful the whole game.

No, he just hasn’t earned any reverence or acclaim as a coach. Yet he is constantly defended and did nothing of note.

If a player has a fumble or INT it’s crucial to give it right back to them.
Gotta get that confidence back and it shows you trust your guys

DL was much better
Kyle didn’t tamper on his way out
You will see what you insinuate everywhere until you can stop obsessing.
Or maybe you missed this entire board absolutely shitting on white boy Nussmeir and calling for van buren. I’ll give you a hint, we just want to win

Frank is an eat-a-salt-tablet kind of old-fashioned coach. He told the sideline reporter in the bowl game that what he told the players at half time was not for the public, insinuating he cursed them out. I guess he thought folks would be impressed.
My Junior High football coach would tell us to calm down because there are millions of people in China who don't gaf that we are playing football, but if we are losing at half time, he will beat the other team's coach's arse for the crowd to get excited about.
He and Frank should grab a beer.

THE D LINE WAS NOT MUCH BETTER. Stop trying to cover for Kyle. He could have gotten them better, maybe. But we started hearing about how he was gonna not return midway through the season. The guy packed it in. Dom McKinley is our most physically gifted player, and he was asssssssssssss the whole year. The DTs weren’t consistent at all.
Now, back to the subject. You can’t be a liability and expect to continue to play. Berry needs to hold on to the damn ball. That is not coaching. That’s want to. Stop making excuses for these guys. He has a problem that he needs to correct.

I assume this is not how Frank was trying to recruit Berry to Ole Miss.

This was my biggest surprise this year. I expected our front 7 to be much better as a whole. Secondary carried the defense.

Crazy Frank rule re: fumbling... wonder how many top ranked programs have that archaic rule???
Posted on 12/28/25 at 10:16 am to Grasshopper
Imagine if Miami benched Malachi Toney after he fumbled against A&M.

he's quick but not quick enough for the SEC
What are you basing this on? 3 cone time? 10 yard splits? Or just your scout worthy eye test?

It’s a Frank decision to get him mad and recruit him to Ole Miss

Imagine if Berry had even half the freshman season Toney had

Of course he's not as good as Toney. That's not the point I was making. You don't bench you're most productive back because of one fumble.
