Looked solid tonight. He should have a solid jumper by the end of the season / next year.

He sure don't look like a rookie out there. Wish he would have acted like he wanted to be here and had our full fanbase support

Stuff like this proves we didn't deserve him.

Maybe it works the other way around.

He might have had full fan base support IF he acted like he wanted to be here.

All the dumbasses on here saying he would be a bust. Some LSU fans seem to have a very low basketball iq.

So.. he wasn’t even a Tiger to me. Got no use for this guy. Couldn’t finish a year.

Simmons became just the third player in NBA history to have a triple-double in his first four games and also the first player to go 10-10-5 in each of the first four since the Big O.

Were people here saying he would be a bust? If so, then yes that is incredibly stupid.

I knew he was a special talent, and he had a great season at LSU (and I can't believe idiots tried to dispute that, also). I just can't bring my self to actively root for the guy. He didn't give a shite about LSU and really didn't hide it. LSU was just a place for him to kill time til the draft. And I fully believe he divided the locker room of what should have been a much better team when he was here.

Show me a quote where he says something positive about LSU. He didn't want to be at LSU and to be fair he didn't want to be at ANY college team. But once you get there you have to give it up. And I don't think he did that consistently at LSU.

If you think that then why would that make you angry at him? Everyone knew he was the number 1 pick in the draft. By him coming here he single handedly made it where you would see more LSU games on ESPN and other networks. He brought a ton of exposure to LSU. Just take it for what it is.

Because at least all the one and dones at Kentucky act like they give a shite about the school and the team.

Yeah, especially at the end when the team tanked around him and it was pretty much a given that he wouldn't have played in the NIT if LSU had gone.

Ben Simmons is much of a Tiger as the cancer that killed Mike VI.
