I’m incredibly happy for Ben that he was able to get that last interaction with him. It’s the kind of thing that acts as a balm when you look back, smoothing the transition to old, happier memories.

My mom (may she rest in peace) gave me a Skip Bergman bobble head in the early 90s and I have always loved that piece of memorabilia. Life is just so damn short. Love ya mom, love ya Skip.

I would hope that Ben does the eulogy of Coach Bertman at his funeral..... you could tell the love and respect in Ben's voice..... and Coach Johnson calling Ben, good stuff...
