Curiel looks like a major leaguer out there. He is polished.

Hard to load when you're doing a standing downward dog backwards ways.

It was a brilliant move. Not just that they assessed the situation, but you know the decision only caused Bear to think about it even more and spiral deeper into the pit.

Yes it was a brilliant move. Jay got thoroughly outcoached last night, and I'm sure he'd be the first to admit it.

Bear just looks depressed for the last month or so. His body language is awful. I'm worried about him as a human. Something ain't right. He doesn't look like he wants to be out there. Hope something positive happens for him early tonight.

He has not proven that he can bounce back. Either move him to #8 in the order or bench him. Put Frey at first! Superstition is Jay’s worst enemy. Not wanting to change the lineup!

Tell me you never played baseball without telling me you never played baseball. You don’t take him off of first base as he is one of the better defensive first baseman right now not only that just throwing Ethan Frey out there at first base is not gonna work since he never played the position.

This regional 2 for 15; 1 RBI; 5 K’s; 10 LOB.

We need Bear to drive in runs.

He's comically bad right now, like watching Road Runner pitch to the Coyote.

That right there is a dumb thing to do.
Go up there and get ready to hit.
That’s all additional crap that helps nothing, adds more to him trying to get set as a pitch is on the way. Do that in the on deck circle.

This is exactly what I think is going on. But, I'm no expert.

He hasn't been the same since he hit the game winner at 1:17 am.

It’s also hard to say it’s a slump when he’s hitting sub .240 in the last 30 games. He beats up on small teams early in year but has been terrible in league play against decent pitching.

That was absolutely not the case last season. Same with Braswell and even Larson before the postseason last year. They are all having down seasons to the point that only Larson looks even close to what he was when he gets ABs.
