Well maybe he will learn not to trust his D to get a late game stop no matter how good the d coordinator is. That would have saved us Ls v ND and Aggie. If he learns this and uses it going forward that’s an extra win each year that he has gained for us.

OK I'll play this game After Aranda failed to stop A&M on the last drive in regulation, O should have learned his lesson by not trusting the D to win the game. So why didn't O and E be more aggressive after the D held A&M to a field goal in the 4th overtime

About a 10% chance until Saban retires, which is the truth with any other coach. The only chance is lsu being a top 2 team in the nation talent wise which I do believe O can do just as good as anyone. Hell O had a 1 loss team with the worst offensively talented team lsu has had in years. That's pretty freakin inspiring to me.

I think a lot of people are
Missing your point.

Don’t gamble against a 2 minute offense.

It’s a scenario that teams drill a lot. They’re going to be more Organized and more practiced.

I’ll take a decent offense vs even a good defense most of the time in this scenario.

If you need a first down to close out a game, go get that fricking first down. Don’t be afraid of giving them an extra 20 seconds.

I think O can but it won't get better unless Ensminger is replaced. The ceiling on offense is very low under him unfortunately. His plays are very slow developing, seems like WR's have a difficult time getting separation. Its just limited IMO

Make a good hire at OC this offseason, things can change. O has the opportunity to fix this. If he continues to roll with E on offense and the offense continues to struggle, there is only one person to blame.

I really Don’t

He freaked out over control with Canada.

Made an internal hire of a guy who hasn’t been an OC in 20 years, and now we’re pretending there is some mystery to why we aren’t good?

I dont Think O understand offense enough to go hire someone who can give home what he wants.

And I dont Think what he wants is something that will work here.

Yes, very close this year. Two hard fought games on the road where we were in position to win.

Better O line play, a little maturity on offense, a better punt return game, and we are there. Not far off.

We’re miles off of heating Bama

And we lost to 2 mediocre teams this year.

We may improve but somis A&M so is Florida.

He did a good job this year, he won more games than expected .

Wasn't some of that due to the media having little faith in Coach O?

So he basically outperformed the low expectations.

Honestly, the Florida and A&M games don't really bother me. Those could have gone either way.

It's the inability to score a single point against Bama in 2 out of 3 tries that chaps my arse. Even Auburn and Citadel managed double digits by halftime.

He gets another year, maybe two to prove he's somehow different than the guy we fired. So far, not looking a lot different.

Not until we beat Bama. So, no, not really.

No one in the SEC,

9 and 3 while not what everyone wants and certainly underachieving for the team but when weighed against the internal struggles the team had was actually a pretty decent result.

I expect this team to compete for the SEC championship. I think the talent is there.

If it means he gets to keep his job yes I do honestly believe that. It’s shown in his decisions on the offensive side of the ball. Why would he be satisfied with Ensminger as our OC when our offense hasn’t been able to establish an identity or rhythm all season minus the Georgia game? He said and I quote E is “doing a tremendous job.”
