I remember multiple times trying to work, then saying screw it….and driving right to the River Center at lunch.

F5 all day

My dad and I used to go gamble on the Belle beforehand. Went in the bathroom and took a piss next to Dinardo. Oh, and we made sure to swing by the Dandy Don booth.

ESPN U waiting for the announcement once the fax went though. I use to shut down for the day and stay glued to the TV to watch the entire day.

Now, we are lucky if we get a 30 min recap show.

My law partner and I drove up for 3 years in a row. I think we missed the first one but did the next 3.

Lot of fun, different time man.

I think my first one was in 2000. I was only 20 but it didn’t matter. Went every year after that until about a year after it went to L’auberge.

I was teaching in Texas at the time and told my principal I wouldn't be at work the next day because I was going to the Bayou Bash. He looked at my like I was crazy. I went anyway and the next year he came with me. Loved all the different restaurants that catered the event. Good times!
