If lsu isn't in the ncaa tournament this year, McMahon needs to be replaced, IMO. Interest in the program (positive or negative) appears to be pretty low from where I stand.
I will continue to go to all the home games as usual. I won't spend my time and money going to West Virginia to watch a team predicted to be securely in the bottom half of the sec in at least one way too early prediction.

They are playing at the Greenbrier?
Yes

This has to be the year Mcbland gets it done 3rd year, it's NCAA tourney or bust. If it's another 500 year or lower time to move on, go get a big name who will win right away, and lead the team to the tourney period!

There isn't a funeral that you could go to that weekend? Maybe paint the outside of your house? Anything would be more exciting than watching McBore's team

I have heard the Greenbrier is haunted. Maybe ghosts will scare the other teams away Scooby Doo style and LSU wins the tourney by default!

I wouldn't focus too much on preseason predictions. Basketball is probably the toughest sport to predict because of so much significant roster turnover from year to year. Just look at last year.
A&M was picked to finish 2nd...they finished with the same SEC record as LSU (who was picked 11th) and were the 7th seed in the SECT.
South Carolina was picked to finish last. They finished in a in a 4 way tie for 2nd (5th seed in SECT)
Arkansas was picked to finish 4th....They finished 12th
Missouri was picked to finish 8th....they finished last with an 0-18 conf. record.
That's not to say LSU will be great, or even good. But the preseason rankings are often a mix of roster + benefit of the doubt attributed to the HC. McMahon has earned zero benefit of the doubt at LSU. That's why LSU will be picked to finish in the bottom half of the league.

A trip to West Virginia in the middle of November

No thanks.
As someone who lived in West Virginia for 3 years I can tell you that you are wrong. West VIrginia is lovely in the fall including November is usually mild during the day and chilly at night and there are a good bit of leafs left on the trees. It is not until mid-late December that it gets depressing and icey. Plus the Greenbrier is f**king awesome.

I would like to go and still thinking about it.
Right now the only tickets are available with a weekend package that includes staying at The Greenbrier along with other things. If any individual tickets are left over they will be available sometime in September.
My guess is The Package is pretty expensive considering where they are playing. I just want to go to the Friday game, spend the night, and head back home Saturday to watch football.

If you live close and want to go, it would probably be pretty cool since I’m guessing you don’t get to see the Tigers in person very much. Don’t listen to the negativity on this board.

Yea, I don’t really pay attention to the BS. I may not have a high post history but I follow sports/LSU religiously.
I would love to get a ticket for the Friday game. A nice drive down 81 to The Greenbrier. Watch the game, Hang for the night than drive back for football on Saturday. That’s a good weekend.

If you got the itch, scratch. Believe the team will be able to compete in that tournament. No matter what, it’s good experience for the team. I think we return 4 heavy minute players but have more depth in shooters and wings.

I guess, technically, yes. But it was the only holiday tournament/event, in 5 seasons, where he won two games. McMahon has won two games in each of his.
Again, there is a LOT to criticize McMahon about. And I have. Particularly when compared to Wade. But performance in holiday tournaments is not one of those things.
You lose credibility in your argument if you can’t acknowledge the positive aspects of the counter-argument.
