No identity whatsoever!!! No fire, no one or 2 players that seem to want to lead the team. Just a collective group of baseball athletes playing for LSU because they made it there.

Zero grit. What happens when you import an entire team from outside Louisiana.

People love to call teams soft. Such a nebulous word that can’t be proven or disproven.

I will take all non-Louisiana players if it wins us another ship. What a stupid fricking comment.

lol the team just lays down and is completely incapable of making any comeback. That’s soft

More disorganized and confused than soft

Agreed. Just like these dumbass sports reporters with their “rhythm.”
“Did they get you out of your rhythm today?” Stupid and meaningless word when applied to team play in any sport.

What would you suggest they do differently? It’s baseball. Hustle by itself isn’t going to cut it. Sometimes it’s not your day.

Skenes, Floyd, Crews, White, and Thompson all aren’t Louisiana natives.
STFU

Yes, this is the most glaring problem with the team. Not enough players from Louisiana. Need more Dylan Crews, Paul Skenes, Brandon Larsons, Louis Coleman’s, Anthony Ranaudos, Brad Cresses on this team. Louisiana baws.

FYI
Crews is from FLa
White is from FLA
Skenes is from CA
Floyd is from GA
Hurd is from CA
THe whole pitching staff from last year was out of state besides Guidry.

Lost too many really good players/leaders from last year’s team. Expectations should not be as high.

Kind of a strange statement when the two players who led us to a NC last season were from California and Florida.

This team reminds me of the 2020 football team. Orgeron brought in all those starters from OOS that were either busts or didn’t play as a team. Just were there for the cash and the brand.

Especially when you play this style of ball. Calculator baseball is hard to replicate year to year at the college level.

quote:weird, a major reason they lost last night is a catcher from Louisiana couldn’t field a ball in the dirt on a strikeout.

It’s early in the season. We have two wins to build on. This team will improve as the season unfolds. We’re a little overmatched right now, but remember what we have to replace. And I don’t mean just Crews and Skeenes.
