As Lange's pitch count shot up in the first inning, it seemed unlikely that we'd get to say, "He really settled in after that leadoff home run." But here we are.
LSU got some nice timely hits last inning. Vandy hasn't been sharp in the field.

Why is it that our hitters sometimes look so bad striking out? I can't recall others teams making it look so bad

Our hitters haven't had that much practice at striking out this season. LSU leads the league with fewest strikeouts.
