Who do we burn for the ninth tomorrow?
Need to let Floyd keep going - he didn’t throw too many and he was dealing

No indeed! Fontenot in the ninth with a lead.

Is going with your Sunday starter an option for 9th inning followed by 7 more innings. Only 30 minutes break between, could stay warm. :

We arent throwing floyd for a 3rd day in a row, fontenot unless we put up a 4 spot in the 9th

Certainly a possible strategy. Labas is a slow starter, though. I don’t think we want him to close the game with a one run lead.
A similar strategy would be to close with Fontenot, then let him pitch the first in game three. Then go Labas for five or six. You could use Edwards at the back end if needed.

Didn't we do this with Gausmann in a Super one year?

Got to get this one, sure would like to see us get a few insurance runs in the Top of the 9th.

I think it will be Fontenot or Edwards.

Looks like rain cleared out early.
Close out game 1 and Labas for a solid 5 or 6, hopefully a complete 7 and a series win.
With Crews and Morgan raking again, the whole team is more confident.
Let's go!

Wouldn’t surprise me for them to go back with Floyd

It wouldn’t surprise me but I’m not there

Now that we're getting ready to resume, here's a recap. Tennessee led 7-3 after 6 innings, but we scored 2 in the 7th and 3 in the 8th to take the lead. Arnold led off the top of the 9th and worked a full count before the game was suspended, so that's where we'll resume.

Will be interesting to see the game 3 lineup too

If Bianco starts, we riot.
