How can anyone with any brain cells defend this team? They don’t hustle and you can’t be lazy and play baseball. This team is embarrassing to the game of baseball.

They deserve a large part of it, and honestly, jay needed to give thompson a break at some point and refused to. His bat and glove arent irreplaceable in this lineup. Fielder positioning relies on good pitching. When you have shitty pitchers who can't hit their spots it lets batters hit the ball the places the fielders aren't.
Which means LSU shouldn't be shifting because they don't have the pitching for it outside of the back of the bullpen.
