There was a time when Austin Nola was a freshman that I thought he had the potential to be one of the best defensive infielders in school history before his career was over.

This year he has been way less than impressive, but I thinks he's still good. It's just a slump I guess. I shouldn't have said that.

Our infield needs to get there crap figured out quick. Errors can quickly make these very good, young pitchers look bad. They are gonna kill our pitchers confidence.

the kid strikes out a lot. nothing new. HE has only had 1 gear since he stepped foot on campus
Its a selfish approach if you're in 8th grade. I am not bashing the kid, it is how he approaches every at bat. However, for him to be as effective as he can for LSU, he will learn to settle his approach in different situations and trade runs for outs with such an effective pitcher on the mound.
