He can get his chance. I'm not calling for him to be pulled. He got out of it. But I'm talking about sending someone down to just toss. That's it! Just go start warming up a little just in case two quick hits happen and you need to get burning. That's all I ask.

Then you will have pitchers getting warm then sitting/getting warm then sitting several times a game.
Obviously there are times where that philosophy is frustrating but I see why he does it.

At this point we dont have the bullpen depth to even do that (not that mainieri would). We have to let some of these guys ride it out till newman is back
