Would be fun. Setting the thresholds for alumni may be tricky. Do we only invite our superstars and if so, how recent?

The first threshold is any players currently playing any level of professional baseball. Majors, minors, independent, and even Banana Ball. They're in shape to play.

Then you invite everyone else to participate in any way they feel like they can. The most recent players will be the most well represented because again, they're the ones still in relative shape to do this.

Then, with 2 outs in the last inning, regardless of the score, you get Warren Morris up there with most juiced bat you can find and throw him meatballs to see if he can still get one over the fence.

What were the games like back then?

They were fun. Met Ben McDonald as a kid at one of them. A lot of the fan favorite alums played or at least showed up

How many of you LSU baseball fans would be interested in reviving the Alumni games similar to the ones held in fall of the 1980's and early 1990's?
I'd definitely attend and pay admission/donate to NIL to bring it back. With the alumni athlete and fan presence that LSU has Jay could definitely use it as an additional NIL fundraiser.
