The irony here is that this year the students have been the ones who showed up the best and stayed the longest. Not sure why the change - maybe Tate opening the Parade Grounds back up for student/Greek tailgating.

This isn't a real analytical ranking, so I don't think you need to get your panties in a wad.
That said, the LSU student section has gotten worse consistently over the last 20-25 years. The game is less about supporting the school and more about getting themselves out there on social media and such. It's because these kids want to be "social media influencers" and such garbage.
I would almost guarantee you that the average football IQ of the student section has dropped dramatically in that time frame as well.
