Good luck covering Barion Brown and Chris Hilton stretching your defense going deep while Nic Anderson and Trey’Dez Green work the middle of the field.

The question is if Nuss has the time to take advantage of all of this.

Its not controversial but it is very IGNORANT!!

As the OP stated Brown has “Showed Out” in just about every practice. He’s also been singled out by Coaches & Reporters after nearly every practice or scrimmage LSU has had this offseason.

Gather around children, let me tell you a tale as old as time. The year is 2018, and the football season is gearing up. A new name, a new breakout star, is topping everyone's watch list for the next guy in a long line of talented Wrs at LSU.

Texas Tech transfer Jonathan Giles. 1,158 yards and 13 TDs, "untouchable in practice", "we haven't tackled him yet", all the media hype, and even, dare I say, Little Joey Burrow tossing the ole pigskin to him. Giles caught 10 passes for 59 yards that year. #3 on 24/7's players to watch, 10/59. But I'm sure Brown will be fine.

Good luck to the safety that has to make the choice between helping over the top on Brown or Hilton

You have to zone that right and hope for the best.

To the OP they rarely have a great QB at Kentucky and baby Stoops kinda has a dumbass vibe. They have had some players though.

Kentucky is exactly the type of program you want to relieve of good players.

Agree, but we have more than two deep threats on the team. Jelani Watkins is fastest guy on the team, and both Kyle Parker and Phillip Wright can fly.

I know I've been posting salty all summer about the football team, I'm just soooo sick of every year, same old bullshite being said about the team. But I do like the optimism from you guys.

I’m sick of your shite too. You are literally comparing a guy with no sec experience to a guy that has proven he is a playmaker in the SEC.

So kindly….shut the frick up.

He literally holds a record in the SEC.

Giles didn’t translate from the Big 12. Not the biggest surprise in the world. Brown did his damage as a true freshman primary weapon in the SEC. We already know he can do it at this level against these defenses when playing with a good QB.

This comparison is as casual as it gets. Brown may not pan out, but that won’t mean this bullshite has any bearing on it or makes any more sense.

I mena it's Kentucky, when is the last time they really had a QB? And I know someone will say Will Levis who the NFL thought he could be good drafting him in the 2nd round, but take a look at the Titans giving up on him after just 2 seasons of crap play drafting Cam Ward now.

Giles had a career altering injury which he never recovered from. He was a very good player, unfortunately the injury slowed him way down. He transferred to Texas Southern where as like a 6th and 7th year player could barely even get any run there. He had like 23 catches his final season at Texas Southern in 2021 as probably a 24-25 year old or something crazy. He came into college at TTU back in 2015 originally.

It’s difficult to separate current resumes (NFL) from the past, but part of me sees a Jefferson, chase, Marshall, moss type corps this year. Not saying same production or TD catches, but there’s gonna be schematic issues with trying to match up against our wr’s. Not to mention when we can flex in Dez. O line needs to gel, but these guys and a healthy Durham………

Good, then you can see where I'm at with board trash like you. I'm comparing the off-the-rails hype train of two incoming transfers who haven't/hadn't played a snap of ball for the Tigers, and their associated hyperbole, one's from national media and coaches, and one's from message board hacks and coaches. I don't think BB is going to catch ten passes, for the record. But his year after year drop in production is concerning.

I try to keep my posts short, and concise, but since you brought it up, BB's SEC production last season was 18/294 with one TD. Oddly enough, JG put up 15/222 and 3TDs against Texas and Oklahoma in his pre-transfer season, obviously they weren't SEC schools back then, but my point stands. Similar stats, similar practice results, similar coach hype, similar board hype, seems relevant. Pretty relevant....

Still you keep forgetting about his impact on special teams.

You are a fricking idiot. It is OK man.

Search Barion Brown vs Clemson....Let me know what he did.
