The personnel on both sides of the ball along with the coaching is on a whole different level than what that 24 team had. I don’t think anyone starting defensively would even be on the 2 deep outside of maybe zy Alexander and obviously weeks.

BK got blown out badly by everybody when he was here.

Tennesee
Georgia
Bama
Hell even A&M

If they think that’s evidence of how things are going to be now, then let them believe that. Will only make their tears sweeter

Given the history of the way this game has typically gone the past 20 years I don’t see how any LSU fan could be doing anything other than white knuckling it the next two weeks.

If we still had the previous regime, I’d already be counting it as a loss. But we don’t, and I’m not.

LSU will win this game.

They are subconsciously adjusting to viewing life in the rear view mirror.

That mediocre 2024 bama team had zero business doing what they did in Tiger Stadium that day.

Easily one of the most frustrating and unexplainable losses in the series.

About like our fans saying because we beat them in 2019 at 2:30 then that means we can beat them this year at 2:30

Who takes twitter serious? I’ve never seen a bigger cesspool of humankind. The most racist, uneducated, hateful, immature imbeciles on planet earth.

Really?
We had just lost to an unranked aTm by more than two touchdowns.
Our defense wasn’t that good. We turned the ball over 3 times.

I would easily rank 2011 and 2002 over that, and probably others too.

1996- we were absolutely the better team. It was the first time Gameday came to campus. The winner basically had the West wrapped up.

When the game started we rolled right down the field and scored a TD. It was called back for a penalty. The drive then stalled an our reliable FG kicker missed. Then Herb Tyler was knocked out of the game. Sparacino acted like he didn’t even know the fricking playbook. Then we get shut out. The D held for a while, but Bama ended up putting it on us.

If you told me someone put a curse on us for that game, I would absolutely believe it. If Tyler plays the entire game, we win 80 out of 100 tries that year. That one was hard to take since it would have been our first SEC CG appearance.

Idk about vast majority. Vibes were pretty low after Marcel Reed ran all over us in that 2nd half of the A&M game. There were real concerns for a good chunk of the fanbase if we would be able to stop milroe’s legs

Still remember Brian Kelly saying in the post game press conference that you guys are probably wondering what the hell we did for 2 weeks lol. The guy had no ability to get his team prepared for big time matchups after he beat bama in year 1.

That Tennessee game in 2022 was an underrated disasterclass gem. It got swept under the rug often since it’s only year 1 but that game was legitimately over by the end of the first quarter lol. Brian Kelly was simply not the coach you wanted on your sideline for a big time matchup
