Should have been a ground rule double and this is why....the fence is an imaginary line going straight up...the ball went under the fence penetrating that imagimary line.....ground rule double....its not about if the fielder couldnt grab the ball or not...its about if the ball was in the field of play or not....

I love lsu but the umpires screwed kentucky on that reverse...

You're not informed

The ball is live if wedged

um no.

it's all about different park rules and what you agree upon to play by before hand. both manager's agree upon this before hand.

the umps made the wrong call initially but were reminded of this after. this is why they reversed the call. this is also why you saw absolutely NO argument from kentucky's coach.

you could not be more wrong.

Just stating the facts...its not about being wedged...textbook ruke is the ball penetrated the imaginary line...

If the ku agreed to that beforehand, well then he screwed himself...a coach cannot make a ground rule that tweaks a rule about the "correct" field of play...

Do you know the ground rules? Every field has different ones. The ball was lodged. Not necessarily beyond the line anyway

What fact did you state? That isn't the ground rules for Alex box.

A wedged ball is live

It's all about each field's rules, which makes your statement laughable

It's up to the home team to make the grounds rules, not you. They got it right

No they didn't and no it shouldn't have been. Every stadium has its own ground rules. In Alex Box thats a live ball. Umps and the opposing team was informed of this before the game.

If they didn't listen then its their fault not ours

Just stop. You're dumb and barely functioning if you were a product I'd take you back and get a refund.

You know there are ground rules for each stadium that are set and explained before each game starts, right? Ground rules say that's a live ball.
