Corso is one of the greatest sports personalities in history.

Dude was college football.

Not to mention ten minute political posturing segments with Tel Aviv Ted

Is it?

They need to go back to two hours, cut McAffee, the weekly sob story, and finish by 12:00.

McAfee is lame after the fourth time you've seen him do his frat bro rip of your shirt and rile up the home crowd with a wrasslin promo gimmick.

I know the mascot head choice was Corso's tradition, but that really was the perfect way to sign off as games kickoff. Just cut McAfee, save $60M and hire actual sports analysts, and give the mascot head gimmick to the guest picker.

As painful as this might be for you to hear.. if they cut McAfee.. they lose half of their young audience. The young kids love the guy. I know that's hard for you to comprehend because you are older and they don't target you anymore but that's reality

The kids move on quick from trends. He's 39 and already gray. The kids will see past and be bored with his schtick in a few years.

It’s an entertainment show. Need loud personalities who do the unexpected. If it was just “sports analysts” up there it would be a glorified podcast. No one wants to see that.

Wait, do you think McAfee does mascot head picks?

I guess I’m in the minority for we older gentlemen (60 here), but I actually like McAfee. He didn’t even bother me right off the bat when he came aboard.

And love him or hate him, I think anyone could agree that his dynamic with Saban works very well for the show.

They’ve got a very good straight man/banana man thing going. I enjoy it.

They made it too long. 90 minutes. That’s all you need. They fell into the trap of “content overload.”

That gives away the suspense and novelty. Bad idea.
