Forget him, dude. Might as well not even be on the team at this point.

I don't think I've ever seen such a bad performance from an LSU offensive line than this year. I hope this move helps!

It takes 2 seconds unblocked to get to the QB from the edge. If the OT can get any kind of hands on him at all, that's another 2 seconds. That's a 4 count, the QB should be able to get it out every time on a 4 count.
I believe Deculus has plenty good feet to get hands on a DE from what I saw last week. Now it's in JB's court..

Wrong, he didn't play phenomenal but he surely didn't play awful. Didn't see too much pressure from the left side and he didn't have te's to help chip either. He played solid.

Funny you mention he played all the way to the whistle. I watched him in the high all star game and thought that was his weakness and now he's shoring that up, he's gonna be fine. Hope to see him kick arse this week.

Ingram was out and they hoped Traore was ready after a good week of camp before Miami game. They wanted Delucus to be that 6th starter who is versatile.

From what I saw the right side of the line was getting beat and beat badly at times. Bad Tra was slow-footed and looked lazy on some plays. There were a few plays he did good, but overall he was terrible. Lewis was the same way, slow-footed on some plays. We know these two are big and strong and have the physical ability to play. I just think coming from JUCO neither one has seen dlinemen with the athletic ability they saw at Miami. I think SELU's Dline is better, more athletic than what people thought they would be. There's just too many good HS players out there and a lot will be passed over by D1 schools and go to schools like SELU. I think the entire LSU team came into last weeks game under estimating SELU's talent level. That coupled with Bad Tra and Lewis having very little game experience against SEC caliber Dlinemen made them look worse than what they are capable of playing. I mean, the LSU coaches must of saw some good things when they recruited these two and what they saw in practice. That being said, Austin is a high motor guy and he will be a very good RT.

ParrishGore, that athletic line and D gave up 500+ yards to Monroe the week before.

Well if he was awful then number 74 starting at Rt for LSU last week must have been downright terrible. Anything is an improvement over #74

I think that Deculus has quicker feet, and should be better against the speed rushers on the right side. He may not be as strong in the run game, but pass protection is more important.

Glad to hear it on Deculus. Was thrilled when we secured his commitment during recruitment, and have been kinda surprised that he hadn't made a bigger impact yet.

Granted, he was more of a road grader and less of a pass protector naturally. But he has to have been taught some good technique by now, especially after being an early enrollee before his freshman season.

This couldn't be more wrong, Deculus graded out very well at LT last week.

I will say a lot of hoopla was made pre-season about Deculus not liking playing right side vs. left side of of the OL. He played RT in the Auburn game (IIRC?) last year and was atrocious. I definitely hope we see the guy we saw this past Saturday at LT, now playing RT.

No maybe you misunderstood. I was saying that the reason the line had people in different positions was because Ingram was still there. Now that he's not they have had to shuffle.
