Amen. The majority of the best games I've ever been to are the Auburn ones. Classic after classic, this series has almost always delivered.

The LSU-AU rivalry is far better than both LSU-Ole Miss and LSU-Florida.

You know you're getting a good one when LSU and Auburn line up against one another.

Ever think that maybe Auburn and State didn’t want LSU on their schedule for once?

It’s not exactly a walk in the park game. They could use a break I’m sure.

I was worried we would lose Florida as well. I believe the sec made this schedule to make ESPN renegotiate their contract. The 2019 and 2020 lsu Florida game on ESPN looked better than lsu and auburn

mean I wish we still had the game but I'm very happy we didn't lose Bama or Florida

I’d rather play auburn than Florida personally

From a cultural standpoint, it is imo the better annual game

They’ll fall off the schedule in 2025 or 2026 and every other year after that.

Without a doubt the wildest series of all our common opponents. Great memories

LSU-Florida & Alabama I agree.

LSU-Ole Miss is not even close to as exciting as LSU- Auburn

People are acting like Auburn is leaving the SEC. It’s not the end of the world. We will get them in 2025. One freaking year break. Relax

It’s one year guys. Settle in.
Changes will be made again. SEC is playing this smart to see the landscape of the game and to be best prepared as a conference for the right way to deal with conference scheduling based off the next new playoff structure.
Changes can be annoying but the fact that a team doesn’t play another team one year doesn’t mean that the next matchup won’t be heated. It may even get more heated.
All about perspective manes.

from 2025 on we'll play everyone twice every 4 years. No rivalries are ending.

And, personally, I could care less who we play every year as long as SEC schedules are as fair as possible.

Me too. This is the stupidest money-driven crap.

If you’re going to add UT and OU, kick out Mizzou and one other non-charter member (USCe, Arky, aTm).

This league is obsessed with sticking us with Arkansas and Aggy over the original SEC members and it’s very frustrating.

you know we’ve played aggy more than auburn, right?

It won’t be every year but will still play them
Sec gonna end up at 9 and ditch the non conf power 5 game

I think I’ll miss it in a couple years, but it’s also nice to have something fresh and new on the horizon. By the time I start missing the Auburn game, they will pop back up on the schedule.

I’ve been to Auburn for many away games. It’s easily one of the most underrated college football environments. Going to miss our road games every other year there.
