If we explicitly them to add the SEC and Sankey as a defendant after the SEC intervened in the situation. Then yes I agree that would reignite the issue.
That has never been alleged. The only allegations have been that Lane “convinced” these guys that they should sue the NCAA for eligibility and if they did we had a spot for them.
Plaintiffs attorneys adding the SEC as defendants after they tried to circumvent the court order took a day and was an obvious move. There’s a very strong chance we had nothing to do with that.

Yes it does. You specifically stated that the only dirt these players would have would be on Kiffin/LSU.
One of the players come straight out and said Ole Miss was recruiting him before LSU even started talking to him.
Ole Miss wanted him to play OLine and he wanted to DLine.
So how would that not be dirt on another program?

That is because the SEC was following court order. They also didn't try to pass rules after that blocking him from playing.
Otherwise the SEC would have been amended in that lawsuit as well.

Yes and we seemed to have settled this whole thing last night without getting into the details. These lawsuits by players would force in-depth examination of the role of LSU (and its agents) in those suits. LSU, LSU fans, Kiffin, etc. do not want that scenario to unfold.

Yes because they made a 53 man roster for an NFL season that hadn't even happened. This is clearly arbitrary. They singled out those two kids. Hell Harris never even attended a practice. Yet he is a pro but the South Carolina kicker isn't? None of these dudes are pros. They should have just made it a class thing. No one from 2022 is allowed back but that's a much bigger fight.

I don’t know some folks the Sorsby case is in comparison to other eligibility cases. In that case the player did something illegal. These other players did not. This isn’t a knock at you on any way for bringing up. I’m saying the SEC seems to think that sets case of precedent for them. In my opinion, it does not.

The ncaa made a ruling they had no further eligibility then made a new ruling weeks ago adding another year to their eligibility.
According to SFP this makes LSU the one at fault.

The SEC and its attorneys, Robinson, Bradshaw & Hinson, have repeatedly lost these kind of cases.

It makes more sense that Harris talked to the last place first, found out they wanted him to be an OL and then circled back to his old coach to see what was up.
In this scenario it’s a “how can you punish LSU when other schools did/are doing the same thing” type of deal.
