LSU conspiring to sue the SEC to use a sympathetic state court to revoke the SEC's enforcement authority has always been the major issue that the SEC has singled out LSU.
You mean like Ole Miss doing explicitly that openly with Chambliss? That's exactly what happened there.

They sued the NCAA, not SEC.

Again, if the litigation leads to uncovering evidence of "bad acts" by LSU?
even if LSU reached out to the players and told them to lawyer up, is that really even that bad?
Anyone that has had a bogus non-compete and looked for jobs that may fall under it has been told the exact same thing. "We will hire you after a judge tells your old company to frick off but we ain't paying for it."

It CLEARLY is to the SEC.

Good point - I suspect that LSU knows where SEC / Sankey ‘buried some skeletons’ that they don’t want exhumed in a series of lawsuits.

LSU sued the SEC? What does this even mean, in terms of what has been presented in legal documents? Is this just a vibe thing?

The risk of this civil litigation for LSU is the SEC turning this from "vibe" to "proven reality".
That's why LSU should do everything it can to ensure this suit doesn't happen.

If the SEC could prove it, LSU wouldn't be able to prevent it.

LSU can prevent it by paying the players and having them release the SEC/NCAA/LSU.

Paying off the players to not sue the SEC is how LSU can avoid being accused of conspiracy with the players?

You’re a fricking awful attorney if you use conjecture as a basis for anything. You pull shite out of your arse as if you’re looking for click bait around here.

that's his real game on here because is isn't as intellectually stimulated by his real life job as a small-time lawyer in Lake Charles, Louisiana

How LSU can avoid the discovery process that may prove that scenario to be proven true.

So now you are just assuming we did something wrong even though the SEC said they have no evidence?

They don't have any firsthand evidence...yet. That's the point.
Do you want to take the risk of them getting the path to potentially find that evidence?
Posted on 9/9/26 at 12:06 pm to SlowFlowPro
If they have equal evidence other teams within the conference did the exact same as LSU, which the players have already said. Does it matter?
Posted on 9/9/26 at 12:07 pm to SlowFlowPro
Seems pretty shady to me, bordering on extortion. Also seems like doing it would be pretty obvious evidence of doing what the SEC can't prove at the moment.
You're the expert, but I can't find the logic in that course of action.

You think other schools may have conspired to file suit against the NCAA/SEC? In Baton Rouge? While they were enrolled at LSU?
