Will LSU have a home field advantage or will it be 50/50 LSU + Oklahoma fans? Thoughts

OU fans will probably spend all their money on Atlanta knowing it will be the only playoff game they go to.

We both only get 13K tickets. LSUAD says LSU has more requests than tickets. Will LSU fans be willing to buy on StubHub for $$$? Stadium seats 74K so there are thousands of tickets in the ATL area controlled by sponsors and the people they have given the tickets to.

I think LSU and OU will have roughly the same amount of fans there. What that number is intriques me.

LSU. Tiger fans can spend extra on this game since the Nat’l Championship is an easy commute for most of us with no hotel required.

OU will have more fans! because LSU doesn’t have real fans! They will request tickets just to sell them to the enemy!

It seemed to me there were more LSU fans than UGA fans last night. I don’t see why it would be any different this time. We definitely have more fans living in Georgia than Oklahoma already, plus LSU fans travel better than other fan base. 70/30 LSU fans in Peach Bowl is my guess.

As someone who was at the game last night I can tell you this.

There were certainly not more LSU fans there.

It was a crowd domination of UGA. Minimum of 70/30.

LSU fans made noise for sure. But it was a sea of red. The entire upper decks were nothing but UGA fans, except for a patch of LSU fans on the upper deck end zone.

However all UGA fans left before the 4th quarter.

My guess is 50/50 at best- maybe an edge to oK.

I was there. Even the UGA fan behind me said it seemed we had more.

Are you color blind? That stadium last night was easily 80% red and black. Our section alone was probably 20% UGA fans, and it was part of the LSU ticket allotment. We should have a huge fan advantage in the Peach Bowl, but we won’t. It will be closer to 50/50.

Not sure where you sat but it was so painfully obvious we were out numbered by a wide margin.

The seats are red and black. I was in section 201 row 11 and looking around I saw more Purple and Yellow.

I think LSU will have the advantage in crowd. It is closer for our fans and this year is just different. I’m 59 and have been attending LSU games since 1972. This is by far the most fun football season I have ever witnessed. I think our fans show up big.
