Watching the replay and watching Atkins dive in there hard and claw that ball out was pretty damn special. Never have I been more proud of our special teams, specifically our kickers / punter. That was something special.

Watching a kicker do that reminds me I should troll Panther/Auburn fans about Cam Newton.

Yet Danielson was looking for a reason to give the ball back to GA.

"Look, someone's leg was out of bounds"...

On the rare occasions he allowed a return he's made a tackle and recovered a fumble. Hell, maybe they ought to designate one KO to allow a returned so the Honey Badger of kickoff specialist can make a play!

The best part is that we have him for another three years.

Because Danielson didn't actually know who Atkins was. If he did, he wouldn't have cared that 47 was on the line because 32 was completely in bounds and had the ball. He had no idea where the ball was, or who had it

Hardaway got popped right before the fumble. He gave as good as he got on that hit, but I think it directly led to the fumble. He had to regroup and couldn't secure the ball again.

Wait, that was our kicker that ripped the ball out of the pile? The guy diving in like a beast?

Was watching at a family function in Georgia and didn’t realize.

All I can think is that he had a good angle to see the ball near Hardamann's feet, which no one else did.

Kudos to him for diving in there nd getting it.

I love how Kirklin takes it from him and holds it up like he did something. Pretty funny.

To be fair, that's what often happens when there are fumbles on the sideline.

No one sees a scrum like that and anticipates the kicker to be laying beside it with the ball.

He also made a touchdown saving tackle on a kickoff against Auburn.
