The State of Louisiana doesn't pay the head coach's salary. That's TAF and donors.

LSU's OP budget revenues are 85% tuition/fees and state/federal funding(via tax/millage sharing). Kelly's salary is part of LSU's budget, otherwise it wouldn't be listed here.

TAF and donors pay most of the salary. Don't know the percentage.

There are places in Louisiana like Natchitoches, Funroe, Shreveport, etc that are further away from TS than that.
So they’re not emotionally invested in their State’s flagship institution?
Hell, part of Plaquemines Parish is further than 142 miles from TS.

Last week before we played atm it was about the tight end coach that took the Houston Oc job he tried to get Kelly
On the phone and meet with him personally to tell him he was taking that job and he could never get him to meet and so he said f it I’ll send him a text telling him he didn’t want to do it this way! Kelly ended up calling him and cursing him out
