Our inept offense is more than likely going to cause us to fall off the map. The same way our inept defense did in 2023

I would say that’s already happened. The real question is at what point does Kelly lose the team?

He lost a portion of the fanbase after the '23 season. There will be a portion of the fanbase that will hold out hope and will always look for a reason to be optimistic with Kelly until the moment he is let go.

But majority of the fanbase will be out on him going into next season if he finishes this season 8-4 and misses the playoff again.

What "fan base"? The guy is very unlikable. A poor motivator it seems.

He lost me when he was hired. I’ve always known he was a mediocre coach. Got flamed on here for saying it when he was hired. Goes to show most of the rant doesn’t know a ton outside of lsu football.

If they lose another game prior to Bama then get smoked by Bama. That’s it. However I honestly don’t think that’ll happen. They’re beating either A&M or bama. Most likely A&M Anyone saying South Carolina simply doesn’t know ball. The cocks are awful. LSU still has a very good defense and has a lot of weapons on offense. Things are far from over.

Is there anyone who likes Kelly? Every coach since Dinardo has had fan support even in adversity. Miles and Orgeron were loved by part of the fan base even in rough years. I simply don’t know anyone who likes Brian Kelly. Maybe it’s because he wasn’t liked at ND and that carried over. But he doesn’t help himself in every press conference and just isn’t a likeable guy. He hasn’t tried to hire an OC to run an actual offense. The 2nd half playbook from the Clemson game has disappeared completely it looks like.

Not saying fire the guy because it doesn’t make sense but at some point you gotta start holding coaches accountable and point them in the right direction. The defense didn’t look great but they still only gave up 24 points on the road to one of the best offenses we will face and nobody has figured out how to stop a mobile QB yet. But the offense needs an upgrade and if that doesn’t happen Kelly isn’t trying to get better. Harlem Berry should have touched the ball 15+ times in the game.

if BK benches Nuss then some of you on here will have another call of mutiny!

Sure, but it will be a minority of people like Lester Earl, and no one will give a shite.

And if the replacement doesn't work out, whats stopping Kelly from going back to Nuss relatively quickly?

It's 60million. He has a 10-year contract and is in year 4 of it.

I would take Miles or Orgeron over Kelly at this point. Their teams had a level of toughness. Kelly's teams are built to play flag football.

Half the fans have had BK derangement syndrome since the day he was hired.

Fan base pretty much lost already. We are tired of his excuses, his inept staff, team lack of focus/concentration/intensity.

Dude....

Kelly's worst season at LSU has been 9-4. We were ranked 4th in the country 3 fricking days ago.

Below expectations? ABSOLUTELY. I'm pissed as well.

"back to the Hallman and Dinardo years"? the frick outta hear dude.

Clearly being ranked 4th was as idiotic as hiring Sloan as OC.

Woodard ever makes another long term contract, then he needs to be fired.

Woodward has hired Jimbo and Kelly, he can't be trusted to make other football hire

LSU baseball and women's basketball is good because we pay better than most schools (or any school in baseballs case)

Saban wasn’t very likable, but he won, so it wasn’t an issue.

I think ~25% never supported him from the jump.

He lost ~25% after the second loss to FSU or USC.

He is slowly loosing some sunshine pumpers now. Easily, 50% of the fanbase is over having him here.
