Last 8 games, LSU will be lucky to only lose 2 more games
9-3 may exceed realistic expectations for this dysfunctional team

That's actually a good point. At some point you have enough money and the juice isn't worth the extra squeeze if you think the program is headed off the rails. Maybe he does agree to a reasonable buyout so that he can feel like he did something positive for the program on the way out.

He'll either Retire or "Resign with $$$$ Settlement to GTFO a la Orgeron" if there's no CFP appearance this season.

Or...

You end up with a situation like Stoops at Kentucky where the coach and university/fan base hate each other but both refuse to budge (or can't afford the buyout) and stay with each other "for the kids".

IF the Tigers don't make the CFP this season, BK9.9 is going to either retire or resign with a $$$$ settlement to GTFO a la Orgeron. Just wait for it. Wait for it after the season IF there's no CFP. All you Kelly Pumptard Sycophants can spew your "BK isn't going Anywhere" pablum all you want. Yall did the exact same thing with Miles and Orgeron. Shortly before the end, yall were defiantly spewing the "Les isn't going Anywhere" and "Ed isn't going Anywhere" BS too..........

Man we got some idiots on here.

and after Kelly leaves if Woodard ever makes another long term contract, then he needs to be fired.

Not sure Woodward survives BK meltdown. Football is the keystone of any big time athletic dept. Woodward got lsu and the bag men to go all in on Kelly. They’re most likely exiting together if it gets ugly

BK meltdown

If anyone is “melting down” on BK right now, they’re ignorant/emotional.

This ain’t the meltdown time. Disappointment/criticism…. Fine and understandable.

Meltdown….clearly irrational.

That's not the problem. Y'all trot out this trope every time that we need to hire a replacement. It gets old. Almost as old as the "He's not going anywhere" one.
The problem is Brian Kelly.

Unfortunately these are many of our fans. Regurgitating their emotional response.

Fortunately, fans don’t make the big decisions.

To be fair, they were right.

Ed O did luck into a natty but then destroyed the program.

I think we would love him if he was winning. He wasted a couple of seasons keeping Sloan and he doesn't have a qb. If he makes a great oc hire within the next 4 months we could be very good next year. I'd like it to happen sooner but I don't see it. He's making over $800,000 per game. Pitiful

I’m still waiting for him to win me over in order for him to “lose” me. Hated him at ND and didn’t like the hirer. But he won a lot of games at ND and thought, might as well give him a chance but he better not bring that always loses the big ones reputation over here…whelp…

I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say “Brian Kelly’s great. Good coach. Great hire for LSU.”

Have you? In the real world, talking to real people, do you ever hear people talk good about CBK?

I’m not sure he ever really had the fan base from the day he stepped off the plane.

I'll be honest, I think he has always lost the majority of the fanbase. I don't know anyone irl who likes and that's saying something. Generally people I know are optimistic they were even optimistic in Miles/Orgeron bad years. I think they're just tired of BK and he has 0 charisma so he's even more unlikable as a coach.
