There's probably some good tailgating at the homeless shelter around the corner from the stadium.

No.

And dont make cliff hanging thread titles.

There are rules here. Read them and live by them.

You definitely don’t want to tailgate at Minute Maid. Your shite will be stolen when you come back out or you’ll get robbed in the parking lot.

As long as you park on the west side of 59, you’ll be fine.

Not as much foot traffic east of 59, so it attracts scavengers.

Wtf would you want to tailgate in downtown Houston? Bars and restaurants everywhere.

Yep. Went to an Astros game in June to find my window busted out and several items stolen out of my truck. That is a cesspool of a neighborhood.

Go Cardinals. Astros ran to the AL.

Just park in the garage at the convention center and go hang out at Biggios sports bar in the hotel right there and then it’s just a few hundred yards down the street right to the stadium

Say that all you want (I could give less of a frick about the astors) but they were in the only division with 6 teams and went to the only division with 4 teams. If that’s how you feel maybe y’all should’ve done it. Worked out well for them

There’s a 24/7 tailgate under 59.

Yeah it’s not ideal. They’ve supposedly cleaned it up a lot since the astros became a dynasty though. I always pay the $50 or whatever it is and park in the lots right outside the park. I feel it’s more secure and after the game the walk is short.

You don’t want to tailgate around Minute Maid. Several bars you can go to around the stadium.

I worked downtown Houston for years, parked for dozens of events after work on the street or surface lots over the years and not once had a window smashed or anything stolen though I also never left anything valuable in the car
