Says a lot about the direction of the program when we're having these conversations as opposed to scratching and clawing for NIT bids in mens

Lost to a team that had one of the best women college basketball players ever in the elite 8.

Nah. They made it to the Elite 8 and lost to an Iowa team hell-bent on revenge. No shame in that.

Dale Brown won exactly ONE post season game in 1990 with a roster that had Shaq, Chris Jackson, Stanley Roberts, Maurice Williamson, and Geert Hammink.

Is 4 first round picks on a team that uncommon? Women’s basketball is a pretty big monopoly among the power structure so I’d assume there may be a few teams with several first round picks. But I honestly don’t know anything about women’s basketball to say if it occurs often or not.

I'm pretty sure Flau'Jae said that she was quitting basketball to focus on her music. Why would she go to the WNBA for the chump change they pay? It would be like you giving up a six figure consulting job to be a full time greeter at Wal-Mart.

South Carolina lost to Caitlin Clark the year before. Gamecocks had at least four first-rounders in the rotation.

The 2006 Texas Longhorns had 4 NBA Draft picks, including an all-timer in Kevin Durant.

Did they make the Final 4?
