O Is 12-0 coming off a loss. But it’s usually when they get right back to work and play the following week. If Brennan was healthy I’d rather seem em play.. The parity in the league helps ease my pain a little but we have the talent and should be the 3rd or 4th best team n the conf. The Pelini D has been around forever and was generally designed for pro style west coast (Bill Walsh) type offenses. I just don’t feel confident it will ever work against spread attacks w mobile qbs that lean more towards option type concepts. I do believe a change must be made at seasons end. He needs to lean on some more modern defensive minds. Hire a consultant or whatever and make wholesale changes

The off week without a doubt helps the team, and we should see improvement.

Everyone would've loved to watch LSU play this week, but they have a lot to clean up.

Also, the severity of Brennans injury is something that could be troubling.

It depends on Brennan's injury.
What's his injury and how long is he expected to be out?

Hopefully, we weren't prepared to start the season, weve been given a gift. Time to sort out the d and find out who wants it.

You say that, but Orgeron basically took full control of the offense away from Canada after the Troy loss and elevated Ensminger to be more involved because he didn’t like the results. O won’t come out and say it if it ever happens, but it wouldn’t shock me if Pelini is no longer in sole control of the game planning and calls going forward.

I’m not real confident that we will see an improvement. I sure haven’t seen any improvements from week to week so what makes you think two weeks off will make a difference. Until they prove that they can guard someone and tackle I have zero faith in the defense

That’s a big hell YES. Remember Stingley sprained his ankle on the yard chain and was shut the rest of the game. Without him 100% our secondary goes from ok to dog shite. We need ok at least. Youngsters need to grow up fast.

As long as BO is still here, you can be off till Christmas....still have a shite show. However, does give injuries time to heal.

Unless Bo is sitting in on Zoom coaching meetings from David Reeves, Barry Odom, Bob Shoop, Mike Elko, Jon Heacock, Jim Leonhard or any other qualified defensive coordinator that has a more modern scheme than 15 years ago, I wouldn’t count on it.

Can't hurt. They needed a pattern interrupt.
