And he’s 1 pitch away from those being 0.00 and less than 1.

He had already given up the sac line out to Brown.

The margins are thin no doubt, but his stat line is his stat line.

He will be better next game I bet. He’s a great pitcher, just doesn’t have his best stuff today against a pretty good lineup.

That was the pitch he called a ball with Evans on the mound.

We are going to score more runs today. Arky does not have a lot of pitching left. We need Evans to figure something out and eat up what innings he can from our adventure of a pen

Exactly. That inning the score was 2-1 with 2 outs and no one on base. That big inning happened quickly while being one pitch away from ending it the entire time.

I don't trust our bullpen for 6+ innings against Arkansas. We need Evans to gut out at least one more inning.

have you been watching Evans pitch today? He clearly didn't have his normal dominate stuff.

First off, the word you’re looking for is “dominant.”

Second, just to be clear - you’re saying we should have had someone warmed going into the top of the 3rd after ~35 pitches, 1 hit, and 3 K’s?

Eyanson handling the interview well, but how many questions are they going to ask him? I kept thinking they would stop, and it was one after the other. Just kept coming.

Eyanson is going to be so successful at life in general - even when his baseball career is over, whenever that may be. What a great young man!

My point was that using the stat line as a basis for your argument is hilarious when the margins are that thin and he should have gotten out of the inning with the lead if not for the ump.

You’re shouting into the void. He’s too stupid to understand anything you’re saying.

Putting up stat lines for any single game is kind of pointless tbh

I just can’t get over the velo from today’s pitchers.

Arky is running out a guy on Sunday pumping 97.

Margins are often thin. The stat line is the stat line regardless. He has struggled.
