Are we worried at all by A&M's defense?

They are #1 in the SEC in yards allowed (#8 in FBS) at 286.5 per game (better then Georgia). Looking back on their games there have definitely been moments when QBs have feasted (Miami's QB got 374 and 5 TDs).

This game is essentially the Daniels for Heisman closing argument so he needs to go off on a better defense then Oregon will play all year. Are we worried at all?

Their front 7 is great. I hope Diggs is healthy. If not, Josh Williams will be key.

Their secondary is weak. If our Oline can rise to the occasion I think JD has a great day.

QB pressure and establishing a run game are legitimate concerns. The 2nd half of the UF game is a good example of how the staff was able to adjust to more pressure than we’ve typically seen and respond with a huge half.

A&M is better than UF up front, but as long as the OL can give Daniels time, their secondary isn’t that good and can definitely be exploited. The more interesting challenge will be creating lanes and opportunities for Daniels and the backs running the football.

I was very happy to hear that Diggs will be back. He and Williams are good backs for this kind of game.

Kelly said Diggs will play this week.

Williams being out for this game last year really hurt us. He was our tough yards safety blanket last season.

Well we probably have the best offensive line they would have faced this year and Daniels isn't afraid to push it downfield. Do you think we will struggle?

We will carve them up like we did Bama. The difference between Bama and A&M, on one hand, and the rest of our competition on the other, is the occasional sack that could end a drive.

A&M's offense has 4,455 yard this season. Daniels alone has 4,591.

I don't know if Walter Nolen is 100% but if he's anywhere close to that, we are going to need Charles Turner to play out of his mind. That is really the only match-up that worries me.

They have a really solid defense. If Daniels has another great game against that team, he has to win the Heisman.

After last year’s collapse against A&M, I am very worried about this game. It would be JUST LIKE LSU to frick up JD5’s Heisman chances in this game.

A little. I mean, these guys have families too. We should be a tad bit sympathetic to the humiliation that they will have to endure as JD pads the frick out of his stats on them.

That part actually has me encouraged about this game.

I think everyone involved in last year's game remembers what happened, and wants to make up for it.

I think it's going to be fairly close, but it wouldn't surprise me if it became a bloodbath.

If you think for one moment that this isn’t Aggie’s Super Bowl then you are mistaken. They have a very solid defense with several LA kids on the roster. They will be hyped for this showdown.

Unless they're dense we shouldn't act like we will do better against A&M than Georgia State as some are thinking.

A healthy Diggs is going to take the pressure off of Daniels if our line can get a little movement up front.

Not having JBC & Williams killed us last year vs A&M
