I realize it’s not official until later in the year

Both should be barring team collapses

Probably, but team records at that time will obviously dictate that.

Both are listed as Kickoff Window: Flex (2:30-3:30 or 5-7 p.m. CT) on the LSU website

Possibly. Bama weekend we are up against UGA @ Ole Miss and OU @ Florida. Texas weekend we are up against Tennessee @ A&M and Ole Miss @ OU.

If I had to guess one of them will be afternoon, one will be night. I think they will try to keep from having back to back weekends of the prime time game being in Baton Rouge.

Yes. Only a fool would agree to a day game for those 2.

So true that’s got to hurt the Bama fans. They have become irrelevant.

If I was a betting man, I would put money on Texas being a night game. Too many potential storylines.

Sark vs Kiffin.
Arch returning to his home state.
Potential SECCG spot on the line for either team.

Bama game weekend is loaded with games. Not just in the SEC, but nationally.

Time slots will be all about records and playoff positioning at that point, though.

Great stadium atmospheres make for more exciting tv broadcasts. ESPN knows there's no place like Tiger Stadium under the lights when both teams are fighting for national title / playoff hopes. I think ESPN / ABC would be quite fine with going to Baton Rouge for back to back night games against top 10-ish ranked blue blood opponents. The only way it doesn't happen is if someone is coming into one of those games with 3+ losses already.

I’m aware. I’m just saying that sometimes they tend to try to separate things like that. If they have multiple options, I can see them taking that into consideration. If OU and Florida are both one loss teams and Bama has 2 losses, you don’t think the would go to OU @ Florida, knowing that they can go to Texas @ LSU the next week?

If you think LSU is a 100% lock to be the night game for back to back weekends in November, that’s fine. I’m not quite there yet.

Going to Legends, NYC, for the Bama game.
3:30 is fine. 7:30 is great. Cannot wait

They've beaten us the last two years and dominated us more than any team this century, so it definitely means something.

I’d gladly play bama as a day game if it meant their program has collapsed this year
