“ study of 2,610 Wisconsin high school football players found that wearing soft-shell helmet covers, marketed as Guardian Cap helmet devices, during practice had no effect on the rates of sports-related concussions.”

I would agree with them. See my post above. They just hit harder. Some of these DBs are pushing 20mph when they hit. Most seatbelt “convincers” are set to 7mph. That allows the rider to feel around 4-5X their body weight in force. Now triple that force…

Put me in the category that this new helmet for practice does nothing.

Oh dear Lord. As a physician, I would never let my child wear anything that choked their carotid artery. Never.

LSU's current EZ's look like shite.

These look much better with a bigger and bolder graphic!

LSU football players aren't willing to sacrifice their mental health and their family's wellbeing in the name of your fashion choices.

You mean the cap that can prevent concussions and other injuries before we start the season?
Studies show it has absolutely minimal concussion protection if any at all

I’m not against them but just think we should get the facts out there

You’re a simpleton. You don’t understand what people are saying. And you won’t look at facts as they are. You didn’t explain anything.

But that’s OK. You can be right. I’ll sit off to the side over here and be wrong with people who have actually studied this in real life on thousands of athletes in the real world.

No, dummy. I understand what people are saying: that those Guardian helmets don’t help. And I don’t have an opinion about that, because I don’t know much about it. What I do know about - what I’m a fricking expert at - is Newtonian Physics as it applies to forces, acceleration, velocity, momentum, conservation of energy and so forth. And what I posted is correct. You, being a dumb frick, misunderstood it as a defense of the Guardians.
