Lol, what money?. .they don't need the money to bust our arse... Offering is enough to take the decision out of Woodward's hand... The NCAA may ban him for a whole season at least. ...this is the NCAA remember, Pete carrol left Usc over free tattoos and selling memorabilia ..its over pods .

Evidently most of the money is coming from shoe companies.

Nobody uses money anymore.
The proper currency in these parts is casino chips. Big denomination casino chips.
Bitcoin is easy, as well.
Bama uses both. And Dodge automobiles, of course.

Talk about clueless. Lol

Every single elite high school basketball player has an agreement with a shoe company. Lol The athletes are always steered to certain schools by the shoe companies.

Remember Greg Monroe, from Helen Cox in Nola? There was no way he could sign with LSU. It was impossible. Nike forced him to sign with a Nike Eastern school. They pushed him to Georgetown. That’s a fact.

Wake up man!

No proof we pay players.
Pretty Dodge Chargers AREN'T invisible.

There's no mucking way that these players (Or their parents) can all of a sudden afford to start driving one after signing a LOI to play football for the Crimson Devils.

It more likely that much of any such money for any program comes from shoe companies, middle men, and agents.
I doubt there is that much slush fund money available from any booster group in the country. There is not much "return on investment" for any booster to give a six figure amount for one recruit.

None. It's not illegal to pay players it's just against NCAA rules, therefore they can't be convicted to begin with.

Dawkins, Gatto, a few coaches so far, and the Justice Department would disagree.

you just got a lot of naïve folks in here. Out of 1 side of their mouth they say everybody is paying player. Then they say we don't. Get real. it's happening. And in mho the $$ is coming from boosters.
It's all good though. Will just needs to learn how to pull stuff like this off. BY STAYING OFF THE FRICKIN PHONE

So what's the real going rate for someone like Naz?

Whatever it might be, the 300K number is so ridiculous it's comically false.

Look, I like WW but I am not blind to his culpability in this mess. That being said, the thought of anyone paying Naz 300K FOR ONE YEAR OF SERVICE is just not believable.

I think the money comes in the form of advanced signing bonuses from various shoe companies and other corporate sponsors. I don't think many "boosters" get their hands dirty much anymore.
