I can easily understand Walker thinking that way, but he needs to talk to himself and come to the realization that Morrison isn’t always going to be perfect the way he was last Sunday. He’s only a man.

Still he was better than Anderson in the Super Regional, Eyanson is tough as nails,

I’m of the opinion that this loss hit them harder than just being blasted out of the park by 5+ runs.

Their players looked like they got hit in the gut after the game. What makes it worst, they haven't tasted defeat since April. How do they handle that kidney shot will determine the series. If we come out and score early, I think we can keep them deflated.

The only thing I worry about is the home plate ump broadening the strike zone in the top of the innings and squeezing it in the bottom.

Did it in the 7th, 8th and 2/3 of the 9th.

I think he realized he wasn’t going to make it out of the ballpark alive if he kept it going.

My only concern is Jeff Head being behind home plate.

Defensively:
They will fill up the zone.
Make the plays.

Offensively:
They will get on base.
Always be a threat to advance to the next base each pitch.
Put the ball in play and force you to make a play.

Anderson carving them up the way he did was good on good. Our good was better.

This guy was as consistent as we’ve seen all year. I thought they got one call that looked off the plate. His zone was tight, but it was the same zone for both teams.

Yes like you I’m hoping for them to have a bit of a mental hangover and for us to keep the “foot on the neck” from start to finish.

Morrison is their guy. We’re going to have to get to him early and not screw around like we did today and take a ton of fastballs for strikes early in the count. He’ll be upper 90s with command.

1. Keep leadoff hitter OFF base in every inning!

2. Few if any walks and no HBP's.

my worry is not about Eyanson, it is about our bats. You can't expect a complete game shutout, so will we be able to score more than 1 run tomorrow against their ace? I sure as hell hope so.

I’m confidant that Eyanson is at least as good as their guy, but I’m not confidant Eyanson will be as good, or better, today. If we get West Virginia Eyanson we’ll probably lose. That Coastal pitcher yesterday is not as good as he pitched. So that can happen too.

Ratings, man. Follow the money.

It's not that we lack confidence. It's the fact that the ump literally shrunk the strike zone for Kade as the game went on. It seemed like he was trying to help create some drama and a late comeback for Coastal Carolina. At least that's how I see it.

He's been really our best starting pitcher the second half of this season.

Bobby, I believe that he is just as good, and that is based upon just how good we have seen him pitch, and that Morrison is projected 2nd or 3rd round. In addition, Morrison will not only be trying to match Anderson's performance, but he has all the pressure now in a must win game. I too, see LSU winning this game, and honestly, I believe we get to Morrison and win going away 5-2.
