Please Dave don't come after Ponamsky. I know O isn't letting his boy go. As a result Diamond Derek will get a raise.

Yes and Eaux gave Meatball all the credit for all the Dlinemen. Meat is in the top-10 nationally for recruiters this year. Do you really think Dlinemen are coming to LSU for Meatball?

If so I have some shite, I mean quality merchandise I know you would be interested in that I will gladly sell to you.

Yeah be had the waiver and recruited those guys. I'm sure he was a big bro to Jacoby.
So your telling me it was all him and not Corey Raymondthat pulled him to lsu
Jacoby doesn't come to lsu if Corey Raymond isn't here

Austin Thomas is overrated
He has been living off that shite for awhile

I thought he left on bad terms?

Coach O wasn’t happy that he left, and mistakenly thought he was going after players in play for LSU but he didn’t. They’re cool now.

I know this for a fact. UT and his agent didn’t do him right and he learned from it big time. Coach FulMer let Coach Pruitt make the call on what job he took and that’s not what was discussed prior to him resigning from LSU and getting on the plane. His agent, Jimmy Sexton’s Lt., told him to trust them without the offer in writing.

Lester Earle you beat me to this.

Austin Thomas pulled two 5 star guys from Tennessee that started this year for LSU. Maybe you’ve heard of Jacoby Stevens & Jacob Phillips lol

Austin is from the Nashville area and got Mr Football in TN to come to LSU. He’s good! There were some heavy hitter coaches in Nashville trying to land him.

You could have a hundred Austin Thomas' and still couldn't convince top talent to come to Waco, TX

Players Briles pulled to Baylor

2008 - RG3 top 300 player (not even a week after Briles was hired)

2009 - top 200 player (CB)

2010 - top 300 player (CB) top 60 player (S)

2011 - top 230 player (OT)

Here is where it gets good. This is the year after he put Baylor on the map. They were never higher than 8th in the Big 12 in recruiting before then.

2012 - top 70 player (DT), top 160 player (ATH), 2 top 290 players (CB and OLB)

2013 - 5 star (WR), top 300 (DTQB), top 140 (OT), top 10 JUCO (OLB)

2014 - 5 star (WR), top 50 (ATH), top 240 (ATH), top 300 (OLB)

2015 - top 40 (QB), top 200 (WR), top 225 (APB)

If you look at their all time commits on 247, which pulls commits back even to the earlier part of the century with the services that ranked them at the time, their top 10, and 16 of their top 20 came during his tenure.

If Aranda can make Baylor a success, guys will go there. If that stuff never happened with Briles, they'd probably be pulling in top 15 classes now.

Yes he was a "secretary". He recruited off campus for one short span because of Pete Jenkins' age and health.

You don't think AT was a coach do you?

If he was a coach Eaux probably would have filled his position or hired another coach. But no, the secretary was so great his position disappeared with him and LSU has paid for it ever since. Ha ha ha ha!!!

Lol, I don't see anyone other than Orgeron hiring Ponamsky.

I know it’s fun to make fun of him, but this guy was instrumental in getting Orgeron hired, and he is a member of Orgeron’s inner circle - a group that just went 15-0. I bet a lot of coaches would want him.

Yep, NO ONE wanted Eaux, Burreaux, Edwards-Helaire either. But the little bitch Rantards are still crying about a guy who has no affect on their lives what-so-ever

You need to let this go. The common people need a hero and a villain. This is why rantards will always try to focus credit and blame on one or two entities.

Even though all evidence suggested our offensive success was the result of great teamwork, they wanted to credit only Brady and Burrow. It’s because they need a hero.

Villains are similar. George Orwell, in his classic novel 1984 had the state gin up Goldstein as a villain upon whom all the common people could focus their hatred. For LSU football the rantards have settled on this otherwise inoffensive character Ponamski. If you teach them to like Ponamski they will shift their hatred to someone else. It’s cathartic for them. Let them have it.

OMG, Lester, that picture of Orgeron stretching was the mic drop!

Austin Thomas and Derek Ponamsky are probably both talented and hard working men who we were/are very lucky to have on our team.

And you are an idiot if you think Austin Thomas is a major figure in SEC recruiting.
