App made their share of mistakes that day too. The final blocked FG gets all the attention because it's a good video clip and a great way for the game to end.

App wasn't even Div II when that movie was made. Besides, I'm thinking about about a second rate school with a team playing over their heads that win a championship located in LA. Too bad that plot was already used in The Waterboy, you could have made some money with a movie about your school.

I respect A-State. They are a multiple champ in their division. It's just that they are going to lose at LSU. No disrespect there.

There is nothing wrong with you guys posting.
It is just that you guys go overboard with what you are posting sometimes.
It is humorous at first, but it gets old fast, especially considering we see it from pretty much every other small school we play to open the season.

I love how many of those posters seem to actually take that shirt seriously. As if the LSU community got together and decided we had to send them a message. Its a shirt, which we make for almost every home game that I remember. Sure we wouldn't normally make one for an FBS team, but the media hype and story behind it means that people will buy the shirts and make money. As far as motivation, I doubt that the players from either team have ever even seen that shirt, nor would they care.

I remember some Arkansas St. fans (ok, maybe it was just one) talking smack to open 2004 about how they were going to take down the National Champs, upset of the century...etc.
Not that I'm comparing the Ark. St. and App, but every team we play does it. I'm fine with that as long as they are somewhat reasonable and not just flaming. I like App. St. They are fun to watch and I admire the spirit of their (non-delusional) fans. And I think most of those non-delusional fans know that the shirt is just a goof and is meaningless to the outcome of the game.
