We left at 7:30pm Friday and hit bad traffic in NC that put us behind schedule. We heard the kick off as we were walking to the stadium. I would say the trip would take around 13 hours under good traffic with few stops.

...from the trip to BR this weekend. I ended up driving from N. Carolina through the night in order to make the trip since the game was bumped up and my flight was Sat morning. A big reason for going was for the LSU experience. Guess I'll have to book another trip. Hope everyone made it through the storm ok. Congrats on a dominating win. Good luck the rest of the season. 
who's going to hook me up with a place to stay tonight so I can make it to the game in time?
Help-after game options

My plans were to spend the weekend in New Orleans after the game. Depending on what happens with the storm and evac...what are some options of things to do for the weekend within a 4 or so hour drive of BR?

Everything I've read about him pertains to him playing at QB. I think we have a good backfield so I'd be surprised if they risk putting him in. I imagine there's a good chance he could get some playing time on the 30th.

I think it could be a close, entertaining first half but App will get tired and worn down in the second. I think our defense has improved over last year but LSU should still be able to run well on us.
A couple of LSU turn overs could make the game really fun!
AE might not have a 200 yrd day running but he will make you say "wow" at least once.

App State is going to roll into TS and play in front of the quietest crowd it has played for since the Michigan game.
LSU guys called one thing right. AE will be pulled early to save him for the rest of the season. He will have amassed 340 yards rushing and another 227 yards passing in building a comfortable 35 point lead by the end of the third qtr though.
Chad Jones puts in for a transfer to ASU at half.
LSU will get a good view of all three QB’s on the 30th. Hatch will be taken out after a massive hit by Banks leaves him wishing he never left Harvard. Lee will replace him but throw three picks leaving Miles no choice but to put in JJ. JJ successfully leads the team to a FG in garbage time for LSU’s only points and is named the starter for the season.

Since 1986 App has been to the playoffs 15 times. They have been consistantly good. They just recently have been good enough to win national championships.
