I'll jump in here. Bama fans are generally great people. Some of the best folks I know, to be honest. They just suck when it comes to college football.

LSU fans aren't peaches on that front either, fwiw.

Just tell them you want to watch the game at home!

Just be forward and tell them you don't wish to watch the game with Gumps. That's what I would do. I once even kicked a Falcons fan out of my house when he showed up uninvited for a Saints game. Nobody cheers against my teams in the sacred space between these walls. Only cries in favor of LSU shall be heard on Saturdays.

If you want to mix fanhoods, go to a damn sports bar.

I watched Nov 2011 with about thirty Bama fans I didn’t know and I was the only LSU fan in the room

I loved that damn game

I was at a sports bar in ATL for the 9-6 game. I met an older guy, black dude from NOLA. We were decked out in purple and gold. He and I were the only LSU fans there; everyone else was a gump. Maybe a couple neutral people.

When Michael Ford ran the TD in in overtime you could have heard a pin drop, minus us screaming our heads off and throwing our drinks in the air.

Best part was he didn’t score, so we got to do it again when we actually won. The waitress told us to be careful on the way to our cars.

They're annoying as frick.

Trust me. I've lived in Alabama and watched many games alongside them. Even ones against other teams, they're annoying as frick

I've done it before with friends while I lived in Alabama. I'll never do it again. I'd rather look rude or get caught lying while listening on 870 am

That's spot on! Only us LSU fans live in complete harmony.
You are such a douche...

Agree....It's like walking the lead off batter in baseball. Nothing...I repeat, nothing good happens when you walk the lead off batter! Same applies to watching a LSU - Bama football game with Bama fans.....nothing good is going to happen.

Nope. But I watched the Bama - OSU game a few years back at the home of a fellow LSU fan and it was awesome. The Gumps were talking so much trash until OSU came back, then it was all silence and excuses. That was fun.

I would go watch the game with them and enjoy it. Especially if LSU wins it will be glorious. Most fun you'll ever have. If LSU loses, no big deal as we are not expected to win anyway.

They're gonna spend the whole time telling you about their 37 national championships. Do not envy you at all...at least troll them esp if they didn't attend the school.

I have a Gump co-worker who tries every year to get me to go to his house or meet him at a sports bar to watch the game. Funny how I always seem to be busy that day!

You're gonna end up drunk and in a fistfight, breaking shite.

Probably best to pass.

Don't worry. God gives you extra points if you lie to or are rude to an Alabama fan. I do that all the time.

frick Alabama fans! Just shows how they act out after marring their sister! When they win, they are so excited, but when they lose to a team like
ULM, they want to talk about BAMA bb!
