That was a terrible look for him.

I believe he called that earlier in the week, "first TD, I'm doing it" iirc

Failed in the nfl? Lol! Where do you people come from?

Granted, that he did not have an top 10 type NFL career, but calling him a failure is ignorant of the facts. Are you a failure as a poster?

At Bama, if Henry broke into the secondary if you were a safety that's the last thing you wanted to see.

100% work ethic while in the pros.

But that sophomore season for Fornettte was one of the best you’ll ever see except for one game. And that one game kept him out the heisman.

They were drafted into two totally different situations to start career and Titans are a run first team and Jags and Bucs were different type offenses. But Leonard has a SB ring and Henry just has more rushing yds

Former football coach, known for his boneheaded calls and inability to adapt, who is now so disgraced he prob couldn’t even get a job coaching high school, bc of how big of a perverted creep he turned out to be. Also Most likely ruined his family in the process. Yeah, I’m real jealous of that life.

Jax didn't commit to the o-line to make him the focus. Never had a hole to run through.

Not too surprising to me that Derek Henry turned out better than LF. Fournette took a pounding on his body before he got into the NFL, and has been hurt quite a bit during his career. Derek Henry seems to have been much smarter as a runner in his career, and has been injured as well, but I think his upside is better than Fournette at this stage of their career.

i don't have any stats but what i remember is Fournette never had as good a game when playing against the elephants from Gumptown, AL.

he always seemed timid. that or CLM was giving the plays to lil Nick.

You saw it against other teams, too. It was very simple, and a bit disturbing to LSU/Fournette fans who recognized what was happening...

Fournette, with a head of steam and an open hole, was amazing. If he got through the line in stride, he'd outrun linebackers and kill defensive backs. But if you clog the holes and make him cut or dance, he was sub-par. Nobody would miss him, and he'd fall down pretty easy if you hit his ankles.

We saw that a lot against Alabama, and we saw it against Wisconsin and other teams AT TIMES. But few college teams could match up against LSU the way Alabama could.

NFL, on the other hand, everyone matches up.

and has better field vision. fournette was not known for his vision. of course all those toss dives may not have helped.

No I’m not surprised…. Fournette concentrated on image, Henry concentrated on football.

I don't hate on MIles as much as most on here, but for that, I spit on his mother's grave!(think very heavy Spanish accent)

Leonard has been in the league since 2017 and is AVERAGING over 1000 yards per year when you combine his receiving with rushing. He still holds the NFL record for rushing touchdowns by a rookie (3) in a playoff game against Tom Brady and the Pats that Jacksonville did everything they could to lose the game, which they did. Leonard is a stud in my opinion and Henry is more of a stud for sure and no, I am not suprised after Henry won the Heisman you could tell he was special. Leonard will still be a productive back no matter who he plays with.... Oh yeah, Henry can also shine Leonards Super Bowl trophy better than Lenny can! Ha!

I'm not surprised. Fournette wasn't even the best running back on his college team for a majority of the time he was here

Fournette lets himself get fat. Henry is a workout warrior.

There is your answer.

Yep. We all have a tendency to think ability is the key talent to achieving greatness. Especially Hollywood presents athletes and artists as having been touched by some divine moment or gift.

But the real talent the greats have is work ethic. It’s really hard to work like Jerry rice or Tom Brady or Derrick Henry. Few have the constitution to do it. Fournette did not have the talent required to be truly great.
