If Q. Leslie qualifies he will be an automatic starter IMO. He's 6'4 and runs like a deer! He'll be the true #1 WR and blow by the secondary to stretch the field. Having him will be huge because Landry, OBJ, and Boone are slot guys, they CAN play outside but fit much better in the slot.

After those guys you have Wright, Dural and Avery Johnson and they are all around 6'2. Wright will see the field before both of them IMO because of age and his experience. Wright is also a much better blocker and pretty physical for a WR.

I wouldn't be against Diarse redshirting with Kevin Spears because I don't see either making a serious impact this season but I might be wrong. Just hope we can get Leslie to qualify!

Diarse will make a bigger impact that Avery Johnson. That's for sure. So will Dural.

I have no doubt about that. Not that the big cat is an indication of talent, but he looked like a little boy out there. Avery needs to get in the weight room as soon as possible.

What is interesting the top 3 from last year OBJ, JL, and Boone are all really slot guys. If we get 2 new guys that step up outside, 2 of those will see a reduction in playing time.

Needs a lot more work than just weight room. People think because he's PP brother he is a stud. False. Not in the same league as PP. And his best season in high school was his sophomore year. Failed to live up to expectations each year after that. And at the under armour all American game he got most disappointing player of the week. Didn't do anything. Also there are concerns about how serious he is about football and his work ethic.

Special teams should be dominant with LSU's young talent.

I think you overestimate him. He is good and will get some reps but he won't break the top 4

Nah. He was considered the best pure WR at the Army All American week. Dude is a natural beast at receiver. Just needs to learn the plays and routes

If Travin Dural can stay healthy, he'll be there.

To me it seems like these types of threads are a dime a dozen.

He has the size and strength to play now.
This aint high school.

Can he learn the playbook?

Can he quickly learn the correct routes he supposed to be running?

Can he block?

I imagine the new WR coach (Cam Cameron) will be looking for all this.

So many recruits look great in high school, but can't make the transition to a more complicated offense in college where you actually have to do some mental work, instead of just out talenting the opposition.

Nobody knows what these kids have between the ears until they start practicing and the coaches see how quickly they pick up the system.
