Why are you concerned about his weight? Is it holding him back? Is he slow? Can he not make cuts? People were worried about PP and his weight as a corner but that obviously didn't hold him back.

Diarse is not PP. PP could hold that weight and ran a 4.3. I'm not sure if Diarse is even in the 4.6s right now. On a local sports show the other night it said Diarse is 4.7 with a 25 inch vert. Not really elite speed or athleticism. I don't look that much into those #s though. One thing I know about Diarse is he is a heck if a football player. That's all that matters to me.

Where is this weight stuff coming from? John is in great shape and is solid....watch him on practice video and see for yourself #88. I seriously doubt he put on weight under told to do so by coaches...he stays in weight room

watch the big cat video and look how big he is.

it'd different if he were a freak athlete like Patrick Peterson. He's not.

He was an awesome HS player; so were most players that come to LSU. He just looks too big to me. Im not saying he will never contribute or anything

Diarse was 6 ft when he left here and somehow managed to grow to 6'1 in 3 months according to someone on a different thread not too long ago.

I'm always relaxed. But he doesnt look even 6-2 to me. High school heights are never close to reality. But thanks for looking up the profile. I was mostly wondering about the weight. I'm guessing closer to 6-1 1/2 210 as a frosh

John is closer to 6'1 than 6'....I'm 6'2 and he's a tad shorter than me...now bowe is a good comparison talent wise no blazing speed but catches everthing

It wasn't my comparison. They guy said people complained when Peterson was too big. I said they arent the same type of athletes.

BTW Peterson plays 10-12 lbs lighter than what he was at that time (219# or so).

Diarse looks like a borderline TE. Not sure if it is the angles, or his shoulder pads, or just his thickness. Im curious to see if he can get any separation at that size.

KG ....Diarse is crazy athletic man. He's not a burner but he has football speed & playmaking ability.

I'm basing JD's height off of my height as well. I'm 5'10 on a good day and based on the pic he and I took when we spoke to a local elementary he wasn't much taller than I was. I actually posted the pic on here a while back. I mean I guess he could be close to 6'1 but not by much. That or I'm taller than I thought. Either way, 6', 6'1 or 6'2 he def has the ability to play early.

Lester diarse isn't a ounces over 205. Maybe its the pads and angles but I assure you not much fat on this kid.
