Lester just being Lester. He thinks WRs shouldn't be built like HBs.

Gotcha. If he can move in and out of the cuts at 210lbs so be it. I love a big receiver that can block and handle press coverage. I'm pumped about this kid.

He is no better than the skew of 5* receivers we signed coming out of hs.

Avery might see pt before him just based on speed and beating guys deeo. If leslie majes it, i doubt we see much if the first year guys.

Diarse might be the most physical WR on the team. Its close between he and Landry. Its to be seen if he's as vicious as Jarvis , but he's as physical as youll find.

Avery has a ways to go before seeing PT. He's like 175 and is weak as hell.

The coaches have been on him the whole spring about his body language, too. Wouldn't surprise me if Kevin Spears passes him.

Seriously doubt that. I don't know where people get this from that Avery is going to play immediately or how he will be a big time player.

Agree sunnydaze. His best year of football was sophomore year in high school. Didn't progress at all after that. Was the most disappointing player at the under armour game and there are questions about how serious he is at football and his work ethic. I think Spears gets ahead of him too. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

This will probably happen. Spears has major upside. He's tall, uses his size to go get the ball and is deceptively fast. I think he'll be starting his junior year.

People are thinking automatic stud since he is PP7's brother.

He had to quit playing football to get eligible last fall so he hasn't really played since he's SR season in HS.

Fans should pump the brakes on him for the time being.

Coaches are very impressed with him

I think Dural is higher up in the chart than Diarse right now.

Haven't read any of the thread...but then again...I don't give a shite what anyone else thinks.

IMO..after Landry (our best WR) and Boone..it is wide open. Boone has been tearing it up this spring. OBJ drops a lot of passes..but he is fast and can get separation. I'm tired of his inconsistency though.

I think with Cam..we may see a shake up..and that could include a guy like Diarse getting playing time.

Diarse will break the top 4 at WR, b/c he can catch the ball. I am actually going to agree with Lester Earl on JD needing to lose a little weight.

Avery is really a boom or bust type guy, and also a kid who despite being older than his peers last signing class has a lot of maturating to do. I don't think he'll make any noise for another 2-3 years. Hopefully he can handle not being an immediate contributor. Diarse is much closer physically and mentally but his skill set has a lot of overlap with Jarvis so I think he'll have to wait a bit. I bet he'll get PT this year in blowouts.

Not from what I've heard. Has bad body language out there and really isn't busting it out there. Cameron wants face reps and a lot of them and from some drills I've seen Avery is slow taking his time and coaches have been on him since he got here.

Why are you concerned about his weight? Is it holding him back? Is he slow? Can he not make cuts? People were worried about PP and his weight as a corner but that obviously didn't hold him back.
