I’ve seen a lot of people overly confident about beating up on OU. I agree, I don’t think OU is the horses to stop our offense.

But, I have to admit, facing Jalen Hurts does worry me. Our defense has played great the last few games. But I think that was against teams that we matched up well against. We can’t let Hurts get loose and make plays with his feet.

I hate him. We need retribution for the losses he inflicted on us while he played for Bama.

Generally, I am nervous about the game because OU is a formidable opponent and opportunities to win the NC are so rare. The CEH injury worries me.

He’ll make plays and score points but it won’t be enough to win

Yes, after seeing what Plumlee was able to do to our defense one would be crazy to have no concerns about Hurts.

Not overly nervous bout Hurts, defense will be ready. We owe him for his association with Fama.

Hurts had mediocre stats against LSU both times.

Had LSU had this offense in those games, LSU would have won going away

I’ve been saying the same thing. We need to have a spy on hurts imo. Queen would be solid.

hurts has more reason to be nervous about us than we do about him. Also, the coaches are paid to worry, not me.

Passing was poor both games but 2016 he rushed for 114 yards and the winning TD. But I agree if we had this offense we blow them out.

Before the CEH injury news, I liked us to win 48-31.

Now, I'm a bit more worried. It's underrated how well CEH helped our offense: he knew the routes, blocking, and Burrow and him had great chemistry (Burrow always knew where he was going). OU will get theirs. CEH may play for all we know, but I worry without him.

If he wasn't playing for Lincoln Riley I wouldn't be worried about him. He did not have great games against Aranda's D in his two starts vs LSU. He is still not an accurate passer.

On the other hand Riley is an elite play caller who is capable of out scheming really good defensive coordinators.

If CEH was playing I wouldn't be as concerned. I still think we win but I don't think it's decided until the 4th quarter.

We’ve played pretty well against him historically, and even better against Lamar Jackson. I think we’ll be just fine.

I am not one to gush or brag about our recent success because I see the reality of the situation... Truth is any one of these (4) teams can win on any given Saturday... There is a lot more than goes into a game than talent and IMO the mental factor is the biggest. It's how you handle the ups and downs... Hey, I know we are good, but lets not go overboard and pretend like the others aren't also. I actually like being the underdog and everybody gushing over you.... That is a recipe for disaster. I know we are at least 2 TD favorites but lets not forget they have 4 and 5 star athletes also... I'll dfo my private gushing when they win...But it answer the question, yea, any well-informed and knowledgeable fan should be wary of Jalen Hurts, as well as Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence. Their all "Crème De Menthe".

It’s okay, we’ll figure it out.

He only beat LSU by 10 on ‘16 and 14 in ‘17. If we had had any resemblance of an Offense, we would have been in those games.
