O ripped into TJ for making a bad decision with the ball that hurt the team. As the starting QB, you just can't do that. For QBs, it's about the decision-making in moments like that. Not so much bad execution that leads to a turnover, but the decision to go where he went with the ball in that situation. That's what coaches care about. Aside from that, I kind of think O wanted to see TJ's emotion after that play, too. He had his eyes locked on the kid, and I think he wanted to see some fire back. TJ is going to be fine. I'm sure he's had a coach upset about a pick before and will have one again.

There is nothing wrong with a coach yelling at a player.

When did our fanbase become hypersensitive morons? Finley threw the ball late over the middle while he was getting tackled. It was a poor decision. He should have taken the sack. The throw ended any chance of winning, given the offense's overall struggles. In the wake of the poor decision, the head coach yelled at him. So be it. Saban and other esteemed coaches have a long history of berating players on the sidelines when they do something foolish and self-destructive. I actually think Finley is a promising QB who should remain the starter, but there was nothing inappropriate about I lambasting him for a dumb play.

To everyone who critized the writer. Can't you see that Orgeron is falling apart? Did he think that 2020 would be as successful as last year? Don't you think a coach should wait to critize and be smart enough not to do it on national TV?
