This is the same idiot who blocks people on twitter for asking him simple questions. Are you surprised? He's insane. I can't wait until he's fired from this program. If anyone thought you could do worse than Miles here you go.

Eaux has a very fragile and suspicious ego.

Da Coach O seems insecure, immature, lacking in judgment and unable to control his temper.
Saban may chew people out, particularly out of frustration, but he is none of these things. AND, he has the added benefit of being a proven, consistent championship caliber coach.
Those who compare these two should reconsider.

Who are the "many" and how did they/you know this? I didn't realize there are so many soothsayers and football experts on this board. I hope you all have other hobbies, hopes and dreams because your following of LSU football must be a miserable thorn in your side. What DOES make you happy?

The majority of this board. Most fans from other teams. The national media.

Because we/they aren't idiots and were alive when orgeron was an unmitigated failure as a head coach the one other time he was given the opportunity to do it?

He’s probably sick of shithead reporters asking questions that have nothing to do with the events of the day

So you’re saying he doesn’t have the maturity and self control to be the head coach of a top level D1 program? Because that’s part of the job and reacting like an overly sensitive teenager is not what most people expect from a top level D1 head coach. At least not until they win a national championship or at least 10 games in a season.

The "majority" of THIS board fall short of all Tiger fans and the fans of other teams don't matter. Nor does the "national" media who fail miserably at predictions and other attempts to make headlines.

What was disrespectful about the question?

His reaction seemed disproportionate to what I understood the question to be.

It just comes off as Orgeron being defensive about his hire. His reaction would suggest that he feels like he's being attacked. Same type of paranoia that he demonstrated at OM.

So if Booger McFarland asked that question would he have reacted similarly? What a joke. Everyone should be prepared for a national embarrassment off the field to go along with the one on it if things don’t go well this season.

I said that in the OP. He was disrespectful. He over reacted. I can't be any more clear than I was. I was responding to the "war hero" Straw Man that INTENTIONALLY misrepresented my point. Nobody said Sullivan is a war hero, just that he is worthy of respect. He's been getting publicly roasted since the hire and O cracked. It's completely understandable. Doesn't make it right. But understandable.

I don't think his response was that big of a deal

I thought it was the correct response

Yep. And god forbid someone question his supposed explanation of our 103 year old WR coach going to teach Pete Carroll something.

Orgeron is in over his head and he knows it. His lies are being recognized and questioned and he lashes out in anger when anyone dares to point out the inconsistencies between his previous and current statements to the press or fan base. The pressure of running an SEC football program of LSU'S magnitude can be overwhelming to even the most experienced and qualified of coaches and when you add in the additional problems of having to keep track of which lies you told to which people and when you told them it only intensifies those pressures. Sooner or later the Cookie Monster will crumble and when he does it's going to be in epic fashion! A Leopard can't change his spots and if anyone has any doubt where LSU is heading under Coach O's direction, they need look no further than his tenure at Ole Miss.

It's not understandable. He's not some normal guy minding his business, getting harassed by the media. He's the HC at a major D1 university football program.

If he can't be bothered about how he reacts to the media, a major part of his job and one I was told by Space Cowboy that he was an expert in, how can you be confident about his ability to master coaching? God is in the detail.

If you're not an x's and o's guy, you better be amazing at everything else to make up for it. He's clearly underperforming in media relations, recruiting, two things he was supposed to be great at. Why the frick is he here? What does he do well?

Lol. Ok. He's the first coach ever who got emotional about some side issue at a press conference. But ok. You have your Narrative. I thought this was about what actually happened at a press conference and why O got his buttons pushed and sorting that out. But it's really about FIRE O all day every day. Now I get it. Stupid of me to wade in and disrupt the Narrative.
